NMD \u2013 NicksMadeDigital believes it is important that you know what data our apps use and why.
Our approach is simple: we collect as little data as possible and only use what is necessary for our apps and support services to work properly.
1. Who is NMD?
NMD stands for NicksMadeDigital and develops simple apps for working with digital media.

2. What data do NMD apps use?
NMD apps may request access to parts of your device when required for the app to function. This may include:
photos or videos you select yourself
files and folders you choose yourself
an external drive or SSD you select as a storage location
access to the local network to connect an iPhone or iPad to a Mac
The apps use this access exclusively for the action you initiate.
3. Photos, videos and other media files
When you select photos, videos or other media files using an NMD app, the app processes these files only to perform the action you selected.
For example:
sending files from an iPhone or iPad to a Mac
organizing and saving photos
converting video files
writing files to a selected folder or external drive
NMD does not automatically gain access to your entire photo or video library. Apple\u2019s operating system determines which access you grant to an app.
4. Transfers via the local network
Apps such as PhotoReady and VideoReady can transfer files between your iPhone or iPad and your Mac via the local network.
For this purpose, both devices must be able to find each other on the same network.
The selected media files are processed directly between the devices involved.
NMD does not use this feature to store your personal media files on an NMD server.
5. Apple Photos and permissions
iOS, iPadOS and macOS may request permission for access to:
Photos
the local network
files and folders
removable storage media
You can view or change these permissions at any time through the privacy settings on your Apple device.
If you refuse a required permission, the relevant app feature may not work.
6. Support
When you contact us, we receive the information you provide yourself. This may include:
your name
your email address
the name of the app you are using
the type of device
a description of the problem
a screenshot you choose to include
This information is used only to answer your question and provide technical support.
Please avoid sending personal photos, videos or other sensitive files unless they are necessary for your support request.
7. App Store
NMD apps may be offered through the Apple App Store.
Payments, purchases and your Apple account are processed by Apple. NMD does not receive your full payment details.
Apple\u2019s privacy policy also applies to your use of the App Store.
8. Analytics, advertising and tracking
NMD apps are designed on the principle that only data necessary for the app to function is used.
NMD does not use personal data for targeted advertising.
If analytics or other external services that process personal data are added in a future version, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
9. Website
When you visit nmdapps.com, technically necessary data may be processed to ensure that the website functions correctly and securely.
The hosting provider may process technical data such as:
