Choose an app

PhotoReady for Mac
Check whether your Mac and your iPhone or iPad are connected to the same local network. Open PhotoReady on both devices and make sure both apps are active. If it still doesn’t work, completely close both apps and reopen them.
PhotoReady may need permission to access the local network, files and folders, or external drives. Check this under System Settings → Privacy & Security and grant PhotoReady the required access. First check whether both devices are still connected to the same network and whether PhotoReady remains open on the Mac. Then try the transfer again. When sending large numbers of photos, it is best to keep both devices active and connected during the transfer.
PhotoReady checks the received files while processing them. Depending on the selected storage location and existing files, a duplicate photo may be saved again or recognized as an existing file. If in doubt, check the destination folder before sending the same selection again.
Check whether the folder or drive is available in Finder and whether macOS grants PhotoReady access to that location. An external SSD must be properly connected and writable. PhotoReady for iPhone and iPad
Check whether your iPhone or iPad and your Mac are connected to the same local network. Make sure PhotoReady is open on both devices. Also check whether PhotoReady has permission to access the local network.

Only delete photos after PhotoReady confirms that the transfer is complete and you have checked on your Mac that the files were received and saved correctly. You can then safely delete the sent photos to free up storage space.

VideoReady for Mac
Check that your Mac and your iPhone or iPad are connected to the same local network. Open VideoReady on both devices and make sure both apps remain active. Also check that VideoReady has permission to access the local network. If it still does not work, fully close both apps and open them again.
VideoReady may need permission to access the local network, files and folders, or external drives. Check System Settings > Privacy & Security and give VideoReady the required access. Without these permissions, receiving, importing, or exporting may not work correctly.
First choose a valid storage location on your Mac or external SSD and select at least one video. Also wait until VideoReady has finished analyzing the added files or completed an export already in progress.
Whenever possible, VideoReady uses the original recording time from the video metadata. If that information is missing, the file's creation or modification date is used. Also check that you selected the same main folder and folder structure. Existing files in the destination folder are included when VideoReady determines the next sequence number.
An MP4 file must be processed again, so it takes longer than copying the original. Speed depends on the video's length and resolution and on the speed of your Mac or external drive. Some video files use a format that cannot be converted to MP4. In that case, choose Original.

VideoReady for iPhone and iPad
Check whether your iPhone or iPad and your Mac are connected to the same local network. Make sure VideoReady is open on both devices and that the app has access to the local network.
VideoReady needs access to your video library and the local network. Check this under Settings → Privacy & Security.With limited access, the app may not display all your videos.
Check whether VideoReady has full access to your Photos library. If you have granted only limited access, only the videos you previously allowed will be visible.
Check whether both devices are still connected to the same local network and whether the Mac app remains open. Then reconnect and restart the transfer.
Large and long video files take more time to send. Keep your iPhone or iPad active during the transfer and make sure VideoReady remains open on both devices to prevent the connection from being interrupted unnecessarily.

EditReady for Mac
Check whether the file has been fully saved and is not corrupted. Some video files use codecs or formats that EditReady may not be able to process. If necessary, try opening the file locally on your Mac first.
Choose the profile that best suits your editing software and project. If you are unsure, use the default profile designed for general video editing.
The speed depends on the length and resolution of the video, the selected settings and the speed of your Mac. Large 4K files or demanding conversions require more processing time.
An editing-friendly format may use less compression than the source file. This can make the final file larger, but it will usually perform more smoothly during editing.
EditReady needs access to the locations containing your video files and where you want to save the converted files. If files or folders are inaccessible, check this under System Settings → Privacy & Security. If files or folders are inaccessible
